Lijiang Studio is a place for farmers, scientists, artists, students, workers, professionals and amateurs to start processes of learning from real needs. Visitors to the studio are free to set up their own study groups, which other members with similar interests may join. In addition to these study initiatives the studio can offer a curriculum emerging from the life and culture of the region.

We are interested in your project ideas and would like to provide more information, in case you have any inquiries. There is no application form, and the procedure is informal. If you email us some lines that would give us a sense for your work, we can begin a conversation, whatever that may lead to.
Lijiang Studio tries hard to make things happen, but unfortunately is not able to support study groups with grants. Applicants therefore are required to pay for their transportation and basic living expenses. We can provide a letter of invitation for funding not for visa purposes.
